This is a very much known common problem.In this problem either there is no display on the Monitor or there is unusual colors. Most of time it can be fixed very easily.
Few step to fix this problem are:
- Power:Check whether the power cord is connected firmly or not,if not than connect it firmly,also check that the power button of monitor is on.
- Video Cable:If your video cable is loose than tighten its screws firmly.
- Contrast and Brightness:It may be accidentally changed.Press its control button on the monitor to reset all the settings.
- Swap Parts:Try to connect your monitor to other computer if it works than the problem is Video Card or Motherboard.But if it does not works than it must be repaired or you must have to buy a new monitor.
- Video Card:Open your CPU and push your Video card firmly to make sure that it is rightly placed in the slot.If your Video card is screw type make sure that all pins and screws aligned properly.
