his problem mostly occurs on older PC’s.It is a common thing that CMOS battery fail at some time.They normally last for years.The System clock changes automatically when CMOS battery is dead.You will see an error indicating the system does not match the configuration. you will see date and time on your computer are always wrong ,even if you change them.When battery is fully dead these errors will show every time you reboot.Your BIOS will show an error number with a message”the battery is dead”.
This problem is easily solved by replacing the CMOS battery with a new one.
